Fire erupts at Kuwait's oil refinery
Kuwait National Petroleum Company spokesman says company's crews successful in extinguishing fire at Mina al-Ahmadi refinery

ISTANBUL
A fire broke out in one of the oil lines at the Mina al-Ahmadi refinery in eastern Kuwait on Friday.
Ghanim Al-Otaibi, a spokesman for the Kuwait National Petroleum Company, said on Twitter that the company's crews were successful in extinguishing the fire.
The fire erupted in one of the lines of the bitumen production unit at the company's Mina Al-Ahmadi refinery.
The refinery is one of the oldest and largest refineries in Kuwait, with a refining capacity of 466,000 barrels per day.
