Fresh Israeli airstrikes kill 12 Palestinians in Gaza

GAZA CITY, Palestine

At least 12 Palestinians were killed and more than two dozen other injured Friday in Israeli airstrikes targeting civilians and their homes across the Gaza Strip that has been facing over a year of continuous genocide.

Medical sources told Anadolu that a strike on al-Maghazi refugee camp resulted in two fatalities and three injuries. The wounded were transported to al-Aqsa Martyrs Hospital in central Gaza for treatment.

The attack targeted a group of civilians in the refugee camp, witnesses told Anadolu.

Six more Palestinians, including two women and three children, were also killed and at least 30 others injured in another Israeli airstrike on a home in the Nuseirat refugee camp, the central Gaza Strip.

Eyewitnesses told Anadolu that the Israeli airstrike left the home completely destroyed, along with heavy damage in the surrounding buildings.

A medical source told Anadolu that three Palestinians were killed and four others injured in one more Israeli airstrike on the Zeitoun neighborhood in northeastern Gaza City.

A Palestinian man was killed in an Israeli airstrike on the Khirbat al-Adas area, northeastern Rafah city, in the southern Gaza Strip.

Israel launched a genocidal war on the Gaza Strip in October last year, killing over 44,600 people, most of them women and children, and injuring over 105,800.

The second year of the genocide in Gaza has drawn growing international condemnation, with officials and institutions labeling the attacks and blocking of aid deliveries as a deliberate attempt to destroy a population.

Last month, the International Criminal Court issued arrest warrants for Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu and former Defense Minister Yoav Gallant for war crimes and crimes against humanity in Gaza.

Israel also faces a genocide case at the International Court of Justice for its deadly war on Gaza.
