Hezbollah said on Friday that it targeted Israeli military positions along Lebanon’s southern border.

According to a series of statements from Hezbollah, its operatives used rockets to strike Ramtha and al-Summaqa sites in the occupied Lebanese hills of Kfarchouba.

The Lebanon-based group also reported that its fighters fired artillery shells at an Israeli site near the Lebanese town of Ramia.

The official news agency of Lebanon confirmed that Israeli drones attacked near the town of Markaba, injuring one person.

Furthermore, Israeli artillery targeted the outskirts of Hebbariyeh and Rachaya Al Foukhar in the southern Lebanese district of Hasbaiyya, the news agency added.

It also reported that Israeli fighter jets targeted the highlands of Kasarat al-Oroush in the Iqlim al-Tuffah region. Additionally, Israeli warplanes struck the highlands of Jabal al-Rihan in the Jezzine area.

Meanwhile, heavy artillery fire exchanges were reported on the outskirts of the town of Tyre Harfa.

Tensions have risen along Lebanon's border with Israel amid cross-border attacks between Hezbollah and Israeli forces, as Tel Aviv continues its deadly offensive on the Gaza Strip, which has killed more than 38,000 people since Oct. 7 of last year.
