BAGHDAD
A pro-government fighter was killed in a suspected Daesh attack on a military site
Four bombers attempted to force their way into the site in al-
"Three bombers were killed while the fourth managed to blow himself up, killing a fighter and injuring several others," he said.
He said the Iraqi army sent military reinforcements into the area in anticipation of further attacks.
No group has yet claimed responsibility for the attack.
Iraqi authorities often blame Daesh for attacks in Baghdad as a way to ease military pressures on the terrorist group in Mosul, where the Iraqi army is trying to dislodge Daesh from its last stronghold in northern Iraq.
