Iraqi forces kill two Daesh terrorists in Anbar
Terrorists were wearing explosive vests, says security official
ANBAR, Iraq
Iraqi security forces killed two Daesh terrorists Saturday in a desert region of Anbar province, said an official.
Anbar police director Hadi Zureyc Kassar told Anadolu Agency that police commandos backed by the air force conducted the operation in the Hussainiyat region.
He said security forces clashed with Daesh-affiliated terrorists, and two Daesh members who were wearing explosive vests were killed.
Three wanted Daesh terrorists were also captured in a second operation in the same region, he said, adding significant amounts of ammunition were seized.
