The Israeli army on Monday closed all entrances to the city of Nablus in the occupied West Bank.
The army closed the city by erecting iron gates and setting up military checkpoints, witnesses told Anadolu.
Videos circulated on social media show gridlock traffic with long lines of vehicles at all entrances, paralyzing transportation.
According to witnesses, gunshots were heard near the Deir Sharaf checkpoint, west of Nablus, before the city was sealed off.
