Israeli forces take group’s regional chief to unknown location after arresting him in West Bank

Israeli soldiers detained a regional head of the Islamic Jihad group in a raid late Monday in the West Bank, according to eyewitnesses.
Soldiers raided a house in the Jabariyyah neighborhood of the Jenin refugee camp and took Bassam al-Sadi to an unknown location, the eyewitnesses said.
Islamic Jihad is yet to release an official statement on al-Sadi’s detention.
Al-Sadi, 58, has been arrested several times by Israeli security forces and imprisoned for around 12 years.
