Israel claims it killed ‘key figure’ in Hezbollah’s Radwan Force in southern Lebanon
Israeli drone launched airstrike targeting vehicle in town of Rechknanay in Tyre district, says Lebanon’s National News Agency

BEIRUT
An Israeli airstrike reportedly killed a “key figure” in the Hezbollah group in southern Lebanon on Tuesday, Israeli media said.
Israel’s army Radio said the slain figure was a member of Hezbollah’s Radwan Force, without identifying him.
The Lebanese state news agency NNA confirmed that one person was killed in an Israeli airstrike on a car in the town of Rechknanay in Tyre city.
The news agency also said that an Israeli drone was flying at low altitude over the city of Tyre and neighboring villages.
There was no immediate comment from Hezbollah on the Israeli claim.
The strike came despite a ceasefire agreement that has been in place since last November, ending months of cross-border warfare between Israel and Hezbollah that escalated into a full-scale conflict last September.
