Israel targets Syrian airports in Damascus, Aleppo
Attack causes no injuries, reports media
ANKARA
Israel launched on Thursday attacks on the Syrian capital of Damascus and the city of Aleppo, targeting their airports, according to local media.
“An Israeli attack targeted the main airports in the capital Damascus and the northern city of Aleppo on Thursday,” the daily Haaretz reported.
The Israeli army confirmed the bombing of the two airports in simultaneous attacks, according to Israeli Channel 12.
Sham FM reported that Syrian air defense was launched in response to the attack.
The attack caused no injuries.
