Israeli forces shot a Palestinian near the separation wall north of Jerusalem late Sunday, while occupiers uprooted olive trees and the army razed agricultural land across several areas of the occupied West Bank.
The Palestinian Red Crescent Society said its crews in Ramallah handled a live-fire injury to the leg near the separation wall in the town of Al-Ram.
The injured man was transferred to a hospital for treatment.
Israeli forces frequently open fire on Palestinians attempting to cross the separation wall to reach workplaces inside Jerusalem and Israel.
In the central occupied West Bank, Israeli occupiers uprooted olive trees in the town of Turmus Ayya, northeast of Ramallah, according to local resident Abdullah Awwad.
Awwad told Anadolu that occupiers stormed farmland near his home with a bulldozer and began uprooting and bulldozing olive trees across wide areas.
He said the attack was carried out without prior warning or legal notice to landowners.
He added that occupiers had uprooted 200 olive trees in the latest attack and 400 more the previous night, many of them decades old, and had also stolen the water line supplying his home and diverted it to a nearby illegal settlement outpost.
“These attacks aim to force Palestinians from their homes and lands so they can seize them,” he said.
In the northern West Bank, Israeli forces arrested two Palestinians during raids, according to the Palestinian news agency Wafa.
Bassem Younes was detained after Israeli forces raided his home in the town of Attil, north of Tulkarm, while Mahmoud Shawahneh was arrested after troops stormed his home in Kafr Thulth, south of Qalqilya.
Israeli bulldozers also razed agricultural land in Khirbet Suruj near the town of Al-Yamoun, west of Jenin, after residents had been notified of plans to seize the land around two weeks earlier.
In Nablus governorate, forces bulldozed land in the town of Burqa and uprooted several olive trees, while troops also stormed the Solomon’s Pools area between the town of Al-Khader and village of Artas, south of Bethlehem.
Figures released by the official Colonization and Wall Resistance Commission showed that Israeli forces and occupiers carried out a total of 1,819 attacks in March, including 1,322 by army forces and 497 by occupiers.
More than 1,150 Palestinians have been killed and thousands injured in attacks by Israeli army forces and occupiers across the West Bank since October 2023, according to official Palestinian data.
