Israeli forces destroy family home of brothers killed in occupied West Bank
Army had threatened to demolish house in February

RAMALLAH, Palestine
The Israeli army demolished the home of the family of two Palestinian brothers killed last year near Jenin in the occupied West Bank.
The official Palestinian news agency WAFA said Wednesday that Israeli forces destroyed the home of the Hasas family, whose members Hemam (23) and Haris (19) were killed in July last year.
The Israeli military had threatened to demolish the two-story home in February.
On July 5, 2024, Israeli forces bombed the family's home in the Harsh Saadet area, killing the brothers and detaining Hemam’s body. Civil defense teams later recovered Haris’s body from the rubble after Israeli forces withdrew.
The family had since repaired parts of their home, which had been damaged and burned.
