Israeli occupiers abducted a 14-year-old Palestinian and injured five others in separate attacks in the northern West Bank late Wednesday, according to official Palestinian media.
The occupiers abducted the 14-year-old male from the town of Qabalan and took him to the settlement of Itamar, with no information on his release, Palestinian news agency WAFA reported
In separate incidents, four occupier attacks took place south of the city of Nablus and a fifth east of Tubas, involving assaults, abductions, and mistreatment of residents, WAFA added.
Village council head Ibrahim Omran said that in one incident, a young man was beaten and injured by occupiers between the town of Aqraba and the village of Yanun.
In the village of Burin, a woman suffered suffocation after occupiers assaulted her with pepper spray while storming a home and fired live ammunition to intimidate residents, he added.
Occupiers also abducted two young men from Einabus, took them to an area near a settlement, and beat them and stripped them before releasing them, WAFA reported.
East of Tubas, occupiers attacked a Palestinian man while he was working on his farm, though no details were available on his condition.
According to the Wall and Settlement Resistance Commission, Israeli occupiers carried out 4,723 attacks across the occupied West Bank in 2025, killing 14 Palestinians and displacing 13 Bedouin communities made up of 1,090 people.
Israel has intensified operations in the West Bank, including East Jerusalem, since launching a military campaign in the Gaza Strip on Oct. 8, 2023. Palestinians view the escalation, including killings, arrests, displacement, and settlement expansion, as a step toward formal annexation of the territory.
In a landmark opinion in 2024, the International Court of Justice declared Israel’s occupation of Palestinian territory illegal and called for the evacuation of all settlements in the West Bank and East Jerusalem.
