Israeli premier's office receives list of hostages to be freed on Tuesday

List includes 5th batch of hostages under swap deal between Hamas and Israel

JERUSALEM

The office of Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu said Tuesday that they have received a list of the fifth batch of hostages who are expected to be released as part of a hostage swap deal between Israel and the Palestinian group Hamas.

“Israel has received the list of hostages expected to be released later on Tuesday, and their families have been informed,” it said in a statement.

Israel’s Haaretz daily reported that “Israel has received a list of the names of the 10 hostages who will be released on Tuesday. The families have been notified.”

“The Prime Minister's office has received the list of the hostages who will be released on Tuesday. The list is currently under review, and messages are now being delivered to the families of hostages,” the Maariv daily reported.
