The Omani military on Wednesday conducted wargames with its Bahraini counterpart in capital Muscat, according to the Oman News Agency (ONA).
Dubbed “Arab Tiger 4”, the maneuvers are part of a wider training program conducted by the Omani Royal Army aimed at “enhancing performance and combat proficiency”, ONA reported.
In October, Oman will hold another round of joint military exercises -- this time with the U.K. -- dubbed “Swift Sword 3”.
Next month’s drills will be aimed at exchanging combat and logistical expertise with a view to bolstering the participants’ combat readiness and operational efficiency.
