The list of guests attending President-elect Donald Trump's inauguration as the 47th president of the US was dominated by his far-right allies.

European far-right and nationalist politicians have received considerable attention.

Prominent figures topping the guest list include:

Italian Prime Minister Giorgia Meloni

Earlier this month, the Italian leader visited Trump's Mar-a-Lago golf club in Florida, where Trump praised her as "a fantastic woman" and noted that she is "really taking Europe by storm."

Although Italian Prime Minister Meloni has maintained a solid relationship with Joe Biden, she is anticipated to strengthen her ties with Trump moving forward.

Argentina’s President Javier Milei

Milei, a self-identified "anarcho-capitalist" known for his ambitious economic reforms in Argentina, met with Trump at Mar-a-Lago shortly after the November election.

At a Hispanic ball before the inauguration, Vivek Ramaswamy, an ally of Trump, called Milei "an inspiration."

Milei seeks closer ties with the US to renegotiate Argentina's IMF deal.

Tom Van Grieken, leader of far-right Vlaams Belang party

Van Grieken was invited due to his party's membership in the nationalist, far-right group Patriots for Europe in the European Parliament, which includes many members linked to Donald Trump or his MAGA (Make America Great Again) movement.

Trump’s allies have also invited Germany’s far-right Alternative for Germany party co-leader Tino Chrupalla.

French anti-immigration politician, a one-time French presidential candidate and ultranationalist, Eric Zemmour will also attend.

Other European right-winger invitees include the head of Reform UK and noble father of Brexit, Nigel Farage.

Former Polish Prime Minister and President of the European Conservatives and Reformists (ECR) Mateusz Morawiecki, who clashed with Brussels in a long rule-of-law dispute, and other far-right politicians such as Carlo Fidanza, Marion Marechal, and George Simionare are among the attendees.

According to the European Conservatives and Reformists Group, the Conservative overseas delegation also included members of the parliament such as Assita Kanko, Stephen Bartulica, Rihard Kols, and Dominik Tarczynski.

According to Canadian news outlet La Presse, a delegation for the Patriots traveled to Washington consisting of Spanish Vox party's leader Santiago Abascal and members of the European Parliament group called Patriots for Europe, Kinga Gal, Klara Dostalova, Hermann Tertsch as well as Paolo Borchia, Jorge Martin Frias and Filip Turek.
