ANKARA

Turkish forces “neutralized” four PKK terrorists in operations in northern Iraq on Sunday.

According to a briefing by the military, after locating PKK terrorists in Iraq’s Dohuk district an operation with an armed drone “neutralized” one and heavily injured two others.

Another operation with an armed drone was conducted near Chale Mountain in the same region, accounting for three more terrorists.

The total number of terrorists killed increased to 463 in Hakkari operations in Turkey's southeast, the military added.

Meanwhile, another operation in Hakkari’s Yuksekova district -- situated on the border with Iran -- saw the military seize 30 grenades, 2 Dragunov sniper rifles and a machine gun.

The PKK -- listed as a terrorist organization by Turkey, the U.S. and EU -- resumed its decades-old armed campaign in July last year. Since then, more than 700 members of the security forces have been martyred and around 8,000 PKK terrorists killed or apprehended.
