ANKARA
Six people were rescued from a sinking Turkish freighter ship which went down off the coast of Libya on Thursday.
The Turkish-flagged Tinaz Tepe sank amid bad weather near Misurata, northwestern Libya, according to the Turkish Consulate General.
Seven more crew members remain missing amid a search operation being conducted by local coastguards.
