UAE sends 37 tons of medical aid for earthquakes victims in Türkiye, Syria
Cargo plane sent upon directives of UAE Vice President Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum

The United Arab Emirates (UAE) has sent 37 tons of medical aid for victims of the devastating earthquakes in Türkiye and Syria.
“A first cargo plane departed last night transporting 37 tons of medical kits,” the Dubai Media Office said on Thursday.
It stated that the aid plane flew to Türkiye and Syria upon the directives of Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, vice president and prime minister of the UAE.
UAE’s Red Crescent has launched the Bridges of Goodness aid campaign to support those affected in earthquakes.
On Tuesday, UAE President Mohamed bin Zayed Al Nahyan ordered $100 million for relief efforts in Türkiye and Syria.
More than 17,000 people have been killed and tens of thousands injured after two powerful earthquakes shook Türkiye and Syria on Monday.
