DAMASCUS
A total of 53 people including 4 children and 8 women were killed in several cities of Syria on during operations staged by forces loyal to the Syrian regime, activists said.
Syrian Network for Human Rights (SNHR), a London-based group that tracks civilian and dissident casualties, said that Assad forces killed 19 in the suburbs of capital Damascus, 9 each in Dera'a and Homs, 6 in Aleppo, 3 each in Hama, Deir al-Zor and el-Haseqqeh and one in Idlib in air and land offensives.
Meanwhile, Syrian Revolution General Commission (SRGC) stated that Syria Democratic Union Party forces opened fire during peaceful protests in Amudah city. SRGC added, casualties reported and heavily wounded ones were taken to hospitals in Turkey.
SRGC also noted that fierce clashes continue taking place in Aleppo city and around it between armed opposition groups and Assad forces.
