Air raid alerts blare all over Ukraine, officials urge public to take shelter
Russia continues daily airstrikes on Ukraine, which were stepped up after blast damaged Crimean bridge

MOSCOW
Air raid alerts were activated all over Ukraine on Saturday, according to an online map tracking the alerts.
Using communications channels, officials urged the public to find and take safe shelter.
No warnings were reported in the Crimea region, which Russia effectively annexed in 2014, in a move widely rejected internationally, including by Türkiye.
As the Ukraine war nears its 10th month, air raid alerts sound on almost a daily basis due to missile and drone strikes after an explosion on Oct. 8 damaged Russia's key Kerch Bridge connecting the country with the Crimean Peninsula.
