DAMASCUS
A total of 62 people were killed in several cities of Syria during operations staged by forces loyal to the regime.
Syrian Network for Human Rights (SNHR), a London-based group that tracks civilian and dissident casualties, stated that Assad forces killed 18 in the suburbs of capital Damascus, 9 in Aleppo, 8 in Homs, 7 each in Hama and Latakia, 5 in Deir al-Zor, 3 in Idlib, 2 in Raqqah, one each in el-Haseqqeh, Dera'a and Suveyda in air and land operations.
SANA, Syrian national news agency, announced that regime forces made major gains against opposition in operations across the country.
