Azerbaijan summons Dutch envoy over war crimes claims

Azerbaijan’s Foreign Ministry summoned Pauline Eizema, the Dutch ambassador in Baku, on Friday.

In the meeting, officials conveyed Azerbaijan’s displeasure over a letter Wopke Hoekstra, the deputy prime minister and foreign minister of the Netherlands, sent to the Dutch parliament on Wednesday regarding alleged war crimes committed by the Azerbaijani military, the ministry said in a statement.
