DAMASCUS
Assad forces bombed suburbs of Syrian capital Damascus with war planes and mortar shells, Syria Local Coordination Committee (LCC) said Monday.
Kadem Asali and Eastern Ghouta regions of Damascus were heavily bombed and many houses were destroyed, LCC said.
LCC also stated fierce clashes occurred between the Free Syrian Army and Assad forces in Beit Sehim and on the road leading to International Damascus Airport.
- Suicide attack kills 60
Syrian General Revolution Commission (SRGC) said Monday 60 were killed in a suicide attack staged against Assad forces in Aleppo.
Suicide attack killed 60 soldiers of the regime and several others were wounded in eastern Aleppo.
Fierce clashes between Hezbollah militia and the opposition were reported to have been continuing in Aleppo.
