ANKARA
The ruling Justice and Development (AK) Party on Saturday elected members of its parliamentary group administration during its first parliamentary group meeting after the June 24 elections.
Naci Bostanci, lawmaker from Ankara province, was elected parliamentary group chairman.
Bostanci was born in northern Amasya city on Aug. 2, 1957; he was a professor in the Communications Department of Gazi University in Ankara before being elected as deputy in 2011.
Ozlem Zengin, lawmaker from Tokat province, Muhammet Emin Akbasoglu, lawmaker from Cankiri province, Cahit Ozkan, lawmaker from Denizli province, Bulent Turan and Mehmet Mus were elected as the new deputy parliamentary group chairmen.
Mustafa Sentop was elected as deputy parliament speaker.
