Russia claims to have taken another settlement in Ukraine
Defense Ministry says village of Bohdanivka in Donetsk region now under its control

MOSCOW
Russia on Thursday said its forces captured another village in Ukraine's eastern Donetsk region.
According to the Defense Ministry, the Tsentr (Center) Group of Forces took control of the settlement of Bohdanivka.
The ministry also reported launching a large-scale overnight strike using high-precision, long-range weapons delivered by air, land, and sea, as well as unmanned aerial vehicles.
The targets included facilities associated with Ukraine’s aviation, rocket, space, machine-building, and armored industries, as well as sites involved in the production of rocket fuel and gunpowder, it said.
“All designated targets were hit. The objective of the strike was achieved,” the ministry said.
It added that Russian forces intercepted four US-made JDAM guided aerial bombs and shot down 230 drones across Russian territory over the past 24 hours.
Ukraine has yet to comment on these claims, and independent verification remains difficult due to the ongoing conflict.
