Russia says it reclaimed another village in Kursk region from Ukraine
Defense Ministry accuses Ukraine of completely destroying gas distribution station in city of Sudzha used to deliver energy resources to Europe

MOSCOW
Russia said on Friday that it reclaimed another settlement in the Kursk region captured by Ukraine's troops during last year's incursion.
Ukrainian troops were ousted from the village of Gogolevka as a result of an operation carried out by the Sever (North) group of forces, the Defense Ministry said in a statement.
The ministry accused Kyiv of attacking Russia's energy infrastructure despite a formal agreement to join the 30-day moratorium on strikes against energy infrastructure.
Ukraine carried out a double strike using US-made HIMARS missiles at the Sudzha gas transit station, destroying it, it said.
The facility was previously used to transport Russian natural gas to Europe.
The ministry also claimed it had taken control of Ukraine's settlement of Krasne Pershe in the eastern Kharkiv region.
Ukraine has yet to comment on the claims and independent verification remains challenging due to the ongoing conflict.
