Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskyy has signed two bills extending mobilization and martial law for another 90 days in the war-torn country.

The status of the two bills was updated on the online portal of Verkhovna Rada, the parliament, on Wednesday.

The parliament voted for the bills last month, extending mobilization and martial law until Nov. 9.

Zelenskyy first declared martial law and general mobilization on Feb. 24, 2022, when Russia launched a "special military operation" in Ukraine. The measures have been extended numerous times since then.
