Türkiye's premiere technology and aerospace event TEKNOFEST ended in the capital Ankara on Sunday.
TEKNOFEST, a five-day event which started on Wednesday, hosted a wide array of attractions including air shows, competitions, workshops, and exhibitions.
The Ankara edition came after the event's first gathering in 2023 that was held in the Turkish metropolis Istanbul in April.
The third edition of the event will be organized in the country's Aegean city of Izmir at the end of this month.
TEKNOFEST has been held in various Turkish cities outside of Istanbul in even years and in the metropolis in odd years, but to mark the centenary of the Republic of Türkiye in 2023, the event has been planned in three different provinces.
Anadolu has been the global communications partner of the event since its inception in 2018.
Selcuk Bayraktar, the chairman of the T3 Foundation which organizes TEKNOFEST, said hundreds of thousands people visited the event in the capital Ankara.
He also said over 1 million people applied for TEKNOFEST competitions this year.
Mehmet Simsek, the treasury and finance minister, said during the closing ceremony on Sunday that people's self-confidence has boosted thanks to TEKNOFEST.
TEKNOFEST is a festival that instills curiosity and love of science in the Turkish children, the minister added.
Simsek also said: "TEKNOFEST has actually become one of the important parts of production and exports."
