Italian coach Carlo Ancelotti, whose career is full of success, has led Real Madrid to five titles in 2024, including the Spanish LaLiga, the Spanish Super Cup, the UEFA Super Cup, the UEFA Champions League and the FIFA Intercontinental Cup.

The 65-year-old Ancelotti, who was named the best manager of the year in 2024 at the Ballon d'Or and FIFA the Best award ceremonies, and was presented by Real Madrid as a “true sage of football,” won a total of 31 trophies during his time as a coach, making him the 6th manager to win the most trophies.


The 65-year-old, who became the first manager to win titles in Europe's five major leagues, has five Champions League trophies, three with Spain's Real Madrid and two with Italy's AC Milan.

Luis de la Fuente, who led the Spanish national football team to the 2024 European Championship (EURO 2024) trophy, was among the best coaches of the year.

The experienced Spanish coach, who took the helm in 2022, previously bagged the 2022-23 UEFA Nations League championship with Spain.

De la Fuente was also named the best national team coach of 2024 by the International Federation of Football History and Statistics (IFFHS).


Xabi Alonso: Coach who made Bayer Leverkusen soar

Spanish coach Xabi Alonso won three trophies with German side Bayer Leverkusen in 2024.

Leverkusen, who bagged the Bundesliga, German Cup and German Super Cup under the helm of the young coach, lost in the final of the UEFA Europa League.

The 43-year-old led Bayer Leverkusen to the first Bundesliga championship in the 120-year history of the club, with a 51-match unbeaten streak in all competitions.

Gian Piero Gasperini brings European trophy to Atalanta


Gian Piero Gasperini, the experienced coach of Italian club Atalanta, led his team to the UEFA Europa League title in 2024.

Gasperini, who ended Bayer Leverkusen's unbeaten streak in the final, won the first trophy of his career.

The 66-year-old took Atalanta by storm this season, turning them into a Serie A title contender with an 11-match winning streak.

Jose Luis Mendilibar, Artur Jorge and Lionel Scaloni stand out in 2024


Spain's Jose Luis Mendilibar, Portugal's Artur Jorge and Argentina's Lionel Scaloni were the other coaches who stood out with their success in 2024.

Greek team Olympiacos won the UEFA Conference League title under the helm of Mendilibar.

Jorge made a name for himself at Brazilian side Botafogo with league and Copa Libertadores victories.

Scaloni, on the other hand, won the 2024 Copa America title with the Argentine national football team after winning the 2022 FIFA World Cup.
