Anadolu Efes defeated Barcelona 80-75 in a Turkish Airlines EuroLeague Round 19 game Friday.
The reigning champions managed to beat the Spanish powerhouse despite Barcelona’s 27-point scoring outburst in the final quarter.
US guard Shane Larkin and Serbian guard Vasilije Micic rallied Anadolu Efes to victory by each dropping 17 points at Palau Blaugrana in Barcelona.
Barcelona's US guard Cory Higgins was the top scorer for Barca, also with 17 points.
Anadolu Efes climbed to the eighth spot at 10 - 9. Barcelona is in the fourth position at 12 - 7 in the standings.
