Arsenal, Real Madrid, Union Berlin, Napoli, PSG maintained their leads in top 5 European leagues

Arsenal in the English Premier League, Real Madrid in Spanish La Liga, Union Berlin in German Bundesliga, Napoli in Italian Serie A, and Paris Saint-Germain in the French Ligue 1 are the leaders in the top 5 European leagues.

English Premier League

In week 13 of the Premier League, Arsenal maintained their leadership in the standings despite their 1-1 draw with Southampton.

Manchester City beat Brighton Hove Albion 3-1 at home. The winning goals were netted by Erling Haaland in the 22nd and 43rd minutes and Kevin de Bruyne in the 75th minute. The only goal of the visiting team came from Leandro Trossard in the 53rd minute. This season, Norwegian star Haaland has scored 17 goals in 11 Premier League games.

Chelsea and Manchester United drew 1-1, while Newcastle United beat Tottenham 2-1 away.

Leicester City beat Wolverhampton Wanderers 4-0 away.

Arsenal at the end of the week continued to lead with 28 points, while the reigning champion Manchester City followed the leader with 26 points and Tottenham placed third with 23 points.

Spanish La Liga

In week 11 of La Liga, the leader Real Madrid defeated Sevilla 3-1 at the Santiago Bernabeu Stadium.

Barcelona defeated Athletic Bilbao 4-0 at home.

Barcelona's Polish striker Lewandowski, who increased the number of goals to 12 in the league, is in first place in the race for top scorer.

In La Liga, Real Madrid took the lead with 31 points, while Barcelona placed second with 28 points.

Italian Serie A

In week 11 of Serie A, Napoli continued their leadership by beating Roma 1-0 away.

Napoli, not defeated since the beginning of the league, extended their winning streak to seven games, maintaining the lead with 29 points.

Atalanta took a hit in the race by losing 2-0 to Lazio, in a match they hosted.

Inter beat Fiorentina 4-3 with a late winning goal, increasing their league points to 21.

Fiorentina, Medipol Basaksehir's rival in the upcoming UEFA European Conference League Group A game, remained 14th in Serie A with 10 points.

AC Milan, which defeated Monza 4-1 and got their fourth consecutive win in the league, increased their points to 26 and moved up to the second place.

Juventus defeated Empoli 4-0. With this result, Juventus won their second game in a row for the first time this season.

In Serie A, Napoli with 29 points are followed by Milan with 26 points, and by Lazio and Atalanta with 24 points.

German Bundesliga

In Bundesliga, Union Berlin maintained their leadership in the standings despite losing 1-2 to Bochum.

Defending champions Bayern Munich beat Hoffenheim 2-0 in an away game.

Meanwhile, Borussia Dortmund beat Stuttgart 5-0 at home.

At the end of the league's week 11, Union Berlin are the leaders with 23 points, followed by Bayern Munich with 22 points, and Freiburg with 21 points.

French Ligue 1

In the opening match of week 12 of the Ligue 1, leaders Paris Saint-Germain (PSG) defeated Ajaccio 3-0 away.

Christophe Galtier's players reached the victory with goals by Kylian Mbappe in the 24th and 82nd minutes and Lionel Messi in the 78th.

Olympic Marseille lost 0-1 to Lens at home.

Undefeated PSG, which increased their points to 32 and maintained their lead in the standings, are followed by Lens and Lorient, both with 27 points.
