Barcelona captain Raphinha has signed a two-year contract extension that will keep him at the Spanish La Liga club until June 30, 2030, the Catalan side announced Thursday.
The 29-year-old Brazilian forward, whose full name is Raphael Dias Belloli, signed the agreement during a ceremony with club president Joan Laporta.
"I feel very proud," Raphinha said at the ceremony, reflecting on his achievements at Barcelona.
"I hope to stay for many more years and, if my legs allow me, to keep performing. I do everything I can for the club," he added.
Speaking about his fitness, Raphinha acknowledged he had not yet returned to full strength.
"I'm doing very well, but I'm not at 100%. I take great care of myself, so the culers shouldn't worry. I do everything I can to be at my best," he said.
The Brazilian, who has taken on a more central attacking role this season, said he was adapting to the demands of playing center forward.
"I've changed position and I'm trying to do my best for everyone. I try to adapt to whatever is asked of me. I enjoy it, and it's easier with the quality we have in this team."
Raphinha joined Barcelona from English club Leeds United in 2022 and is in his fifth season with the Catalan side.
He has made 190 appearances, scoring 94 goals and winning three La Liga titles, one Copa del Rey and three Spanish Super Cups.
Raphinha has enjoyed a prolific start to the 2026-27 campaign, scoring 19 goals in all competitions, including a league-leading 15 in La Liga and four in the UEFA Champions League.
