Basketball: Datome extends contract with Fenerbahce
Italian forward Luigi Datome, 31, to play for Fenerbahce Beko until end of 2021-2022 season

ANKARA
Turkish basketball club Fenerbahce Beko extended the contract of Italian forward Luigi Datome on Tuesday for three more years.
"Gigi Datome will don the Fenerbahce Beko jersey until the end of the 2021-2022 season," the club said in an online statement.
Seen as an integral player of the Istanbul-based team, the 31-year old joined Fenerbahce Beko in 2015.
While playing for Fenerbahce Beko, Datome won the Turkish Airlines EuroLeague title in 2017 and claimed the top Turkish basketball league titles three times in 2016, 2017 and 2018.
Last season, he scored an average 9 points per game, with 3.6 rebounds and 0.8 assists in 34 Turkish Airlines EuroLeague matches.
