ISTANBUL
Bayern Munich defeated Zalgiris Kaunas 77-74 in Round 8 of the Turkish Airlines EuroLeague on Thursday to clinch their sixth straight victory.
Bayern Munich's Carsen Edwards was the highest scorer of the game with 24 points at SAP Garden in Munich.
"I am just happy to win. It's a long season, and we have to keep going," Edwards said after the game.
Devin Booker scored 15 points, while Andreas Obst produced 12 points and seven rebounds for the German club.
For the losing side, Sylvain Francisco produced 20 points and Edgaras Ulanovas added 15 points and six rebounds.
Despite the result, Zalgiris Kaunas remain at the top of the table with six wins and two losses, ahead of second-place Bayern Munich, who also have six wins and two losses.
