Bayern Munich top Bundesliga
Bayern pull off 2-0 defeat of Koln.

ANKARA
Matchday 6 in Bundesliga finished on Sunday night.
League leaders Bayern Munich won against Koln 2-0 in an away match Saturday. The scorer for the Bavarian side was their German genius Mario Gotze but Koln midfielder Daniel Halfar found his own net.
Schalke 04 toppled archrivals Borussia Dortmund 2-1 on Saturday in the Revierderby on their home turf, the Veltins-Arena.
Thanks to goals by two Cameroonians, center-back Joel Matip with a header and winger Eric Choupo Moting in a scramble for the ball, Schalke led 2-0 early.
Borussia Dortmund forward Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang narrowed the gap fairly quickly at the 26th minute, but his team could not find the back of the net in the remaining 64 minutes.
Nicknamed ‘Die Knappen’ (The Miners), Schalke 04 were victorious in the derby in Gelsenkirchen whereas Borussia Dortmund have not won in their last three league games.
Hamburg maintained their poor form in the league as they lost to Eintracht Frankfurt 2-1 at home on Sunday. Eintracht Frankfurt's Brazilian forward Lucas Piazon's late winner disappointed Hamburg at Imtech Arena. Having collected two points in six weeks of Bundesliga action, Hamburg dropped anchor at the bottom of the German top football division.
Results are as follows:
Mainz 05 0-0 Hoffenheim
Freiburg 0-0 Bayer Leverkusen
Stuttgart 1-0 Hannover 96
Koln 0-2 Bayern Munich
Paderborn 1-2 Borussia Monchengladbach
Schalke 04 2-1 Borussia Dortmund
