Besiktas stays perfect in Champions League
Black Eagles blanks German opponent to lead Group G

ANKARA
Besiktas shutout Germany's RB Leipzig on Tuesday to continue an impressive run in the UEFA Champions League.
The Istanbul club went into the match at Vodafone Park on the heels of a defeat last weekend by rival Fenerbahce but showed resilience by finding the opening goal in 11th minute on a low, driven shot by Ryan Babel.
Dominating the possessions and creating dangerous chances on Leipzig's goal, the Black Eagles doubled the margin in the 43rd minute when Brazilian midfielder Anderson Talisca managed to convert a masterful cross from Portuguese winger Ricardo Quaresma on a header that found the net.

The win also set Besiktas apart from other teams in the in the group with 6 points. Porto is second at three points and Monaco and Leipzig each have one point.
Besiktas has a 10-game unbeaten streak at home in European matches. The Turkish side managed to break the spell against German opponents, securing its first win in eight matches.
In another Group G clash, striker Vincent Aboubakar scored twice for Porto in a 3-0 win over Monaco at Stade Louis II.
