Diego Rossi moves to Fenerbahce on permanent deal
24-year-old winger signs 3-year contract with Istanbul football club
ISTANBUL
Fenerbahce have reached an agreement with Major League Soccer for the permanent transfer of Diego Rossi, the Turkish football club announced on Friday.
Rossi inked a three-year contract to play for Fenerbahce and a transfer fee has been set at €5.5 million (almost $6 million), the team said in a statement.
Joining the Yellow Canaries last year, Rossi has produced four goals and seven assists in 33 matches so far.
The 24-year-old helped Club Atletico Penarol win two Uruguayan Primera Division titles.
The Uruguayan winger also clinched the South American Under-20 Championship for his country.
