Turkish central midfielder of Bundesliga team Borussia Dortmund, Nuri Sahin broke his nose when he collided with a teammate during the mid-season training camp in La Manga region located in Spain.
A statement published on the official site of Borussia Dortmund said Turkish international Nuri Sahin will miss the training to be held on Thursday due to his injury.
Sahin collided with one of his teammates during training, the statement said.
Meanwhile, Sahin's fellow teammate Ilkay Gundogan who is struggling with spinal compression has returned to Germany to seek treatment for his bronchitis.
"Ilkay has been recovering, he does not have to stay here until the end of the mid-season camp, we decided to send him to Germany where the medical opportunities are better," said the club's doctor Markus Braun.
