ANKARA
After multiple members of the Italian team contracted COVID-19, a Turkish Airlines EuroLeague game between AX Armani Exchange Milan and ALBA Berlin set for next Wednesday has been postponed.
"Milan requested the suspension after several team members tested positive for COVID-19, which leaves it without the minimum eight players on the Authorization List fit to play," EuroLeague said in a statement on Friday.
The Round 18 game was scheduled to be held at the Mediolanum Forum in Milan on Dec. 29.
It added that new date for the rescheduled game will be announced later, when it is confirmed.
