EuroLeague leaders Zalgiris Kaunas to visit Bayern Munich on Thursday
Lithuanian team has 6-1 win/loss record to top Turkish Airlines EuroLeague standings

Zalgiris Kaunas from Lithuania, the leaders of the 2024-25 Turkish Airlines EuroLeague season, will travel Thursday to take on German side Bayern Munich in a Round 8 game.
Zalgiris have a 6-1 win/loss record as they lost once in their first seven games to Greek team Olympiacos by 74-68 at Piraeus' Peace and Friendship Stadium on Oct. 11.
Meanwhile, Bayern Munich lost twice in seven appearances, 94-79 to defending champions Panathinaikos in a Round 2 game on Oct. 10, and 86-78 to Partizan Belgrade in Round 3 on Oct. 15.
Carsen Edwards, the US guard of Bayern Munich, is the current points leader of the season with a 19.6 point-average.
The Bayern Munich vs. Zalgiris Kaunas clash at Munich's Sap Garden will begin at 1945GMT.
The EuroLeague Round 8 will see the Panathinaikos AKTOR Athens vs. Olympiacos derby. The Greek powerhouses will meet at Panathinaikos' home court Oaka Altion on Friday.
The showdown in Athens will begin at 1915GMT.
Second-place Panathinaikos won five games in seven rounds. Their bitter rivals Olympiacos are sixth in the standings as they have secured four wins.
