Fenerbahce settles for goalless draw with Dynamo Kyiv in Champions League

ANKARA (AA) - Türkiye's Fenerbahce settled for a goalless draw with Ukraine's Dynamo Kyiv in UEFA Champions League second qualifying round's first leg game on Wednesday.
The Yellow Canaries proved to be the better side throughout the game with six on-target goal attempts, while the Ukrainian team had none at the Wladysław Krol Municipal Stadium in Lodz, Poland.
It was also the first official match supervised by new Fenerbahce manager Jorge Jesus.
The second leg match between the two sides will be held at the Ulker Stadium in Istanbul on July 27.
Fenerbahce will face Austria’s Sturm Graz if they progress to the third qualifying round.
The losing side will drop down to the race for a UEFA Europa League spot, and face the Czech Republic’s Slovacko in the third qualifying round.
