Florentino Perez was re-elected as Real Madrid’s president after running for the position unopposed, the Spanish La Liga club announced Sunday.

The 77-year old, who served as president between 2000 and 2006 and since 2009, was re-elected with a mandate until 2029.

Perez has not faced off against an opposition candidate since reclaiming his post in 2009, including elections in 2013, 2017, 2021 and now in 2025.

Real Madrid have been enjoying a successful era under Perez's helm, bagging five LaLiga five titles -- in 2012, 2017, 2020, 2022 and 2024 -- and six Champions League trophies, including an unprecedented three-in-a-row from 2016 to 2018.
