Basaksehir defeated Caykur Rizespor on Monday with a 2-1 score, finding the game’s winning goal in the 90th minute.
The low-budget Istanbulite team increased its points total to 29 with the win and stayed on top of the league.
Second-placed Besiktas defeated Adanaspor 2-1 on Sunday and continues to closely follow Basaksehir.
In the week's much anticipated derby, Fenerbahce prevailed against Galatasaray with a 2-0 victory, increasing its unbeaten streak against Galatasaray at home to 18 years.
Fourth-placed Bursaspor lost two points at home against Akhisar Belediyespor.
