France shutout Portugal 1-0 in a UEFA Nations League Group 3 match Saturday.

Following a goalless first half, N'Golo Kante scored the winner in minute 53 at Lisbon's Estadio do SL Benfica.

In the other match in the group, Sweden defeated Croatia 2-1 at Solna's Friends Arena.

Dejan Kulusevski and Marcus Danielson scored for Sweden, while Croatia's sole goal was netted by Danielson's own goal.

France are at the top of the group with 13 points and Portugal are in second place with 10.

Third-place Croatia have three and Sweden are in the cellar with three points.
