The North London derby played at Emirates Stadium between Arsenal and Tottenham ended in a 1-1 draw Saturday in week 6 of the English Premier League.
In the 56th minute, Tottenham Belgian winger Nacer Chadli, assisted by Erik Lamela put his team in the lead 1-0. Chadli after putting the ball into the bottom left corner of the goal.
But, at the 74th minute, Alex Oxlade-Chamberlain scored the equalizer by smashing a loose ball in the back of the net, 1-1.
The game had started at a quick tempo. But Arsenal was hampered by injuries as, at the 27th minute, Spanish midfielder Mikel Arteta left the pitch replaced by French player Mathieu Flamini. At the end of the first half, Welsh midfielder Aaron Ramsey also had to be subbed out for Santi Cazorla
Meanwhile, Everton snatched a 1-1 draw in the last minutes of the Merseyside derby against their archrivals Liverpool at Anfield.
Liverpool's veteran midfielder Steven Gerrard had scored the first goal thanks to a free kick at the 65th minute but Everton captain Phil Jagielka replied back with a successful long range missile in stoppage time of the derby.
