Germany's 2014 World Cup squad unveiled

FRANKFURT 

Germany's National Football Team for the 2014 FIFA World Cup has been unveiled by their coach Joachim Low.

The initial squad of 30 players will be cut down to 25 after a training camp and then the final squad to travel to Brazil for the World Cup in the summer will be announced on June 2.

Low remarked that in addition to experienced players many youngsters have been added to the squad as well.

Fiorentina's forward Mario Gomez was not selected for the team due to his poor club form in his club and neither has Borussia Dortmund's promising central midfielder Ilkay Gundogan due to his waist problems.

Germany's 30-player-squad is as follows:
