Karate: Turkey's men, women kata teams 3rd in Europe
Turkey brings home 3 golds, one silver, 6 bronze medals from 53rd European Karate Championships in Serbia

ANKARA
Turkey's men and women kata karate teams finished third place in the just-concluded 53rd European Karate Championships in Novi Sad, Serbia.
According to a statement by Turkey's Karate Federation, the country's men's kata karate team defeated the Azerbaijani men 5-0 to claim the bronze medal.
The women's team also defeated Germany 5-0 to claim the bronze medal.
The four-day 53rd European Senior Karate Championships ended on Sunday.
Turkey, on the whole, managed to collect three gold medals, one silver, and six bronze medals and came in second behind Spain in the general standings.
