Liverpool came back from 1-0 behind to beat Leicester City 3-1 in an English Premier League week 18 match Thursday.

Ghanaian forward Jordan Ayew brought an early lead to the visitors in the sixth minute at Anfield.

Before the end of the first half, Dutch attacker Cody Gakpo made good use of Alexis Mac Allister's pass and equalized in the 46th minute.

Curtis Jones completed the comeback at the beginning of the second half, in the 49th minute, and made it 2-1 for Liverpool with Mac Allister's assist.

The Reds' last goal came from Egyptian star Mohamed Salah in the 82nd minute.

Liverpool cemented the top spot with 42 points and with one more match to play, seven points in front of runners-up Chelsea, while Leicester City are in 18th spot with 14 points.
