Manchester City lifted the 2022-23 English Premier League trophy after beating Chelsea 1-0 on Sunday.

The Citizens, which were named the champions after Arsenal's 1-0 defeat to Nottingham Forest on Saturday, beat Chelsea with a goal from Julian Alvarez in the 12th minute at Etihad Stadium.

The Manchester side have netted 100 goals in home matches this season in all competitions.

Team skipper Ilkay Gundogan lifted the club's seventh Premier League trophy in the ceremony.

Manchester City will play against Brighton on Wednesday and then with Brentford on May 28 in the last match of the season.

Chelsea are placed 12th with 43 points in the standings.
