Paris Saint-Germain (PSG) signed Achraf Hakimi from Inter Milan to a five-year contract, the French club announced Tuesday.

"Paris Saint-Germain is delighted to announce the transfer of Achraf Hakimi,” it said in a statement. “The 22-year-old Morocco right-back, who also has Spanish nationality, signed a five-year contract and is tied to the club from the French capital until 30 June 2026."

The Moroccan moved to Inter Milan from Real Madrid in 2020 and became a key player as he helped the team lift the Serie A title by scoring seven goals with 11 assists.

Hakimi previously played for Borussia Dortmund in Germany between 2018 and 2020.

He also played in the 2018 FIFA World Cup for Morocco.
